3What courses are offered at Iran University of Science and Technology for international students?
Thank you for your interest in studying at IUST. IUST only offers Master’s and Ph.D. programs for International students with high academic credentials.
4What language qualifications do I need?
Since Persian is the medium of instruction for all courses, the students should have a good command of Persian to be able to study at Iran University of Science & Technology. Otherwise, they should attend Persian language classes held in International Center for Persian Studies for at least 3 months depending on their level of Persian. 5If I need to take a Persian language course, how long does it usually take to finish the course?
The Persian language program normally lasts for 2-6 semesters. The duration of each semester is six weeks. Further information is available at: http://icps.ut.ac.ir/course-e.html
6What is the duration of each program?
The Bachelor’s Degree normally takes 8 semesters to complete. The Master’s Degree normally takes 4 semesters to complete.
7What are the tuition fees?
The tuition fee for Bachelor’s degree is about 3500 dollars per year. The tuition fee for Master’s degree is about 4000 dollars per year. The tuition fee for Ph.D. degree is about 6000 dollars per year.
8How much does accommodation cost?
The cost of housing is about 80- 150 dollars per person per month. The cost of meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner (during working days) is about 100 dollars per month.
9What are the financial support documents required for admission?
Financial support documents are the types of documentation you can use as evidence that you have sufficient financial support for studying at IUST, such as:  Bank statement letter  The letter of financial support signed by the highest authority of the organization that will financially support you  Any other sources for your financial support
10What online courses are offered at Iran University of Science and Technology?
Online courses at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) are only offered for Master’s programs, and all undergraduate programs are held on campus.
11What is the next step after being admitted to Iran University of Science and Technology?
After being admitted to educational programs at IUST and being approved by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology (Iran), the applicant should apply to obtain a (student) visa from the embassy.
